JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Manager is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a vital role in building and executing a communications strategy that enhances the organization's public image and strengthens its connection to the community. This role focuses on developing and growing the organization’s brand presence through strategic storytelling, creative content, and engaging marketing campaigns—particularly across social media and digital platforms.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for crafting and sharing compelling narratives that reflect the organization’s mission and impact, increasing visibility and engagement. They analyze campaign performance to identify what drives the highest engagement and conversions, while also tracking and interpreting marketing and communications data. Additionally, the Marketing Manager plays a key role in managing public perception, responding to feedback, and proactively sharing positive stories and updates with stakeholders to build lasting relationships and inspire continued support.
MARKETING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive, evolving marketing and communications strategy to enhance Moody Clinic’s image, support outreach efforts, and strengthen public awareness of our mission.
· Lead the creation of storytelling-driven campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms to build brand presence and connect with our community.
· Plan and execute engaging content calendars, graphics, and multimedia content that reflect the clinic’s impact and patient success stories.
· Oversee all digital and print marketing efforts, including website updates, social media, email campaigns, video production, and print materials for fundraising events and appeals.
· Manage the editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of Moody Clinic’s key publications such as the Annual Appeal and campaign materials.
· Ensure consistency in Moody Clinic’s visual identity and messaging across all platforms, including coordinating branding elements like logos, brochures, and letterhead.
· Collaborate with contractors and creative partners to uphold the brand’s tone and mission in all marketing assets.
· Monitor and analyze marketing performance using key metrics (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and conversions to evaluate success and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Regularly research social media trends, digital tools, and audience behaviors to guide campaign innovation and platform-specific strategy.
· Respond to and engage with media inquiries and social media interactions in a timely, thoughtful manner, always protecting and promoting the organization’s reputation.
· Support internal communication efforts and ensure alignment between staff, stakeholders, and public messaging.
· Work closely with leadership and team members to define campaign goals, timelines, and content needs.
· Contribute to budget planning and track marketing-related expenditures to ensure cost-effective and impactful outcomes.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO or Leadership Team.

EDUCATION:
You must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or related fields.
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, and related fields.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
Travel within the city is required. Possession of an appropriate valid Texas driver’s license and insurance.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment, exposure to computer screens, frequent contact with the public. Continuous sitting. Some lifting and carrying.
