The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategist with experience in content planning, digital marketing, and local engagement—able to manage priorities across teams while maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence.
Marketing Responsibilities
Lead an omni-channel marketing strategy that supports Sockeye Brewing’s business goals—from growing regional brand awareness to driving traffic to our pubs and retail partners.
Identify audience segments, track customer behavior, and apply marketing insights to build thoughtful, data-driven campaigns that deliver measurable results.
Manage content creation and scheduling across:

Track and interpret performance metrics (email engagement, social media insights, web traffic, etc.) and use those insights to refine strategies.
Community Events & Partner Engagement
Serve as the point of contact for external event and collaboration requests—fielding inquiries and identifying alignment with brand goals.
Build relationships with local organizations, nonprofits, and community leaders to expand Sockeye’s visibility and impact.
Oversee donation requests and nonprofit partnership programs, ensuring alignment with company values and community outreach goals.
Assist in allocating marketing dollars toward sponsorships and events in collaboration with the VP of Sales & Marketing, using KPIs to guide decisions and assess outcomes.
Restaurant Support
Partner with pub teams to promote events, specials, and seasonal programming via digital channels and internal communications.
Craft promotional language and messaging strategies for front-of-house teams to use during in-house activations, limited-time offerings, and new beer releases.
Coordinate efforts to drive local engagement through campaigns and activations at each location.
Collaboration with Design & Brand Assets Manager
Close coordination with the Design & Brand Assets Manager is critical to the success of this role. You’ll be responsible for providing creative briefs, content calendars, and key messaging for product launches, events, and promotions—ensuring visual output aligns with the intended goals. In turn, you’ll collaborate with the Design & Brand Assets Manager to review creative work, provide feedback, and confirm that final materials are delivered on time and in line with the campaign vision. Strong communication and planning are essential to maintain consistency across digital, print, on-premise, and trade materials.
