The Wild Honey Pie is looking for a dedicated and creative ✨Community Manager✨ to manage and create a new brand voice for our small business. And help us relaunch our TikTok. This role involves managing social media, newsletters, website content, and YouTube videos, ensuring our audience is always engaged and informed about our events and content. The ideal candidate will work closely with Eric and our leadership team to create compelling strategies for social growth and maintain strong communication with artists and other creators. If you are passionate about music and community engagement, we want you to join our team.
Compensation:
- $22/hour for daily work
- Project specific work is a flat fee, by-project basis, not covered by hourly
- Press outreach is paid $700 monthly additional
- Handling social media at any TWHP party is paid $150
- $150 bonus for any vacation you take (up to 2 a year)

- 4 days a week (Workday hours please, 10-20 hours a week)
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Work closely with Eric and Lucy to write captions, coordinate collab posts with artists and partners, and schedule up to 4 Instagram feed posts a week.
- Post daily Instagram stories covering all upcoming events, and sharing content from recent events, music videos, etc. Tag all partners and artists and use appropriate links. Schedule stories for any days you aren’t working.
- Post to Threads daily about upcoming events, past events, and content that aligns with TWHP values. Tag partners and artists when appropriate. Everything in 1 paragraph.
- Relaunch The Wild Honey Pie TikTok
- Manage Instagram link in bio to ensure it is up to date with each event announcement.
- Create strategies for social growth and engagement.
- Interact with influencer groups
- Research relevant Reddit groups for each event and post to them
- Manage Discord
Email Newsletter Management
- Write weekly newsletters on Mailchimp sharing information about upcoming events, newly released music videos, news from artists and brands, and more.
- Send a newsletter out the day before every event to the guest list with all information about the event.
- Send newsletters out within 48 hours after an event to the guest list sharing photos from the event.
- Keep the Mailchimp audience updated with new emails from giveaways.
Website Management
- Upload photos and videos to Dropbox using the established org strategy.
- Create select photos folders in Dropbox for every event.
- Add events to the website.
- Write and post blog posts for each event announced.
- Add music videos and live videos to the website with short writeups for each.
- Add select photos to the website following events.
YouTube Video Management
- Create YouTube thumbnails using the standard format.
- Upload videos to YouTube.
- Write descriptions for videos.
- Add cards to videos for relevant brands.
- Schedule videos to go live.
- Promote videos on social media.
PR Duties
- Find appropriate contacts at relevant publications
- Send 10 emails a week to PR contacts sharing info about TWHP and upcoming events
- Follow up with all press contacts every other week and when new events are announced
