
About the role
We’re hiring a sharp, psychology-savvy Marketing Writer to lead the weekly Ad-To-Cart newsletter. You’ll turn consumer behavior
research and marketing psychology into punchy, applicable insights for DTC and eCommerce brand marketers.
Each issue will break down one behavioral science principle or study, interpret it through real brand examples, and give readers
practical strategies they can test immediately.
We’re looking for someone who
- Is passionate about behavioral science, marketing
psychology, and brand strategy
- Has a strong grasp of consumer behavior and the DTC
landscape
- Can interpret academic research or psychology theory and
make it actionable
- Has experience writing in editorial, strategy, or eCom
marketing contexts
- Is reliable, curious, and editorially sharp
Bonus points if you
- Have worked with or inside a DTC/eCommerce brand
- Are familiar with CRO, product strategy, or conversion
copywriting
- Know tools like Klaviyo, Postscript, Shopify, or Triple Whale
- Have a behavioral science background and love making theory
practical
- Read newsletters like Nik Sharma, Retail Brew, DTC Daily, or Retail Dive, Science Says or Why We Buy for fun
