Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop new alternative investment ideas and opportunities
- Monitor current alternative holdings for ongoing inclusion in client allocations
- Develop and maintain a network of alternative fund providers, serving as liaison for the firm.
- Prepare performance and due diligence updates for clients on a regular basis
- Review and prepare internal and external alternative investment marketing materials and collateral
- Participate in client meetings as the Alternative Investment Guru
- Research and analyze client alternative investment review requests
- Manage client tax document collection and distribution process
- Participate in Quarterly Best Execution Committee meetings
- Contribute to Monthly Investment Committee meetings
- Help prepare monthly/quarterly Client newsletter on markets
- Assist in various internal investment audits
- Mentor and educate staff
Basic Requirements
- Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) required
- CFA (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Series 65 (preferred)
- 5-10+ years of Alternative Investment Research and Allocation Experience
