Production Coordinator
About LoCo Think Tank
LoCo Think Tank is a membership business peer advisory organization founded in Fort Collins in 2014. Our business model is to identify high achieving business veterans with a love of community, and to recruit and train those individuals to become LoCo Facilitators. Through monthly meetings, regular one-on-one engagements, and community resources these individuals shepherd chapters of up to 12 business owner members to overcome challenges and reach business and personal objectives during their business journey.
We have developed chapters across Northern Colorado for smaller (<5 employees), mid-size (5 - 25 employees), and larger (25 - 500 employees) regional private business leaders. Our business is run by a small, highly effective headquarters team that supports the LoCo Facilitators and acts as the primary marketing and sales team for recruitment and initial vetting of potential members. In addition, LoCo Think Tank sponsors and produces The LoCo Experience podcast, which is especially relevant to this role.
About The LoCo Experience podcast
The LoCo Experience podcast is a weekly long-form conversational interview show featuring the most inspiring and entertaining business and community leaders in Northern Colorado - and beyond. Hosted by LoCo Think Tank Founder, Curt Bear, and sponsored by LoCo Think Tank and other local businesses, the program shares inspiring journeys, business insights, and community causes worth celebrating - while also celebrating free enterprise, free speech, and conversation over cancellation.
About the Role and Person
The person we are looking for will help us take the podcast, and LoCo Think Tank, to its next level, which for us is continuing growth regionally, and multiple chapters outside Northern Colorado serving their Local Community business leaders by the end of 2027. Activities will include podcast production, clips, newsletter maintenance and growth for LoCo Think Tank, newsletter creation and growth for The LoCo Experience, social media posting and engagement for both ventures, content development and coordination for LoCo Think Tank, event support, and possibly - but not necessarily - on-air personality development as part of the podcast.
This is a part-time role - a flexible 15 - 20 hours per week anticipated - that could grow into a full-time role over time for the right person, but not likely in the next 12 months. We are a small team, with two full-time employees including the Founder, and a Director of Growth and Operations, Ben Holtz, and a ~10 hour per week Producer/Marketing Intern - who is leaving in December - and a team of LoCo Facilitators delivering the goods to our members each month.
Special benefits of this role include a start-up environment with no shortage of hats, a collaborative and generous culture driven by the cause, and connection to an incredible network of business and community leaders in Northern Colorado. Some training is available, but the right candidate will be a self-learner and implementer of new ideas as well as a doer and sharer of established wisdom.
Wage is negotiable depending on experience, likely to fall in the range of $22 - $28 per hour. We offer a hybrid work environment, but more hours will be in office than not - especially to start.
For enhanced consideration, email me a cover letter explaining why you're particularly interested in this role - and why you'd be a great fit - to curt@locothinktank.com.
