Since 1914, the Florida Land Title Association (FLTA) has been a member-based organization (501(c)6 not-for-profit) serving the real estate and title settlement services industry (Real Estate Title Insurance). FLTA's mission is to support the land title profession for the protection of property rights and the integrity and security of real estate transactions. The successes of the association are driven through Advocacy, Connections, and Education; and recently, community involvement through the establishment of the FLTA Charitable Action Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
Position Summary:
The Membership Engagement and Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in promoting the value of the association to both current and prospective members. This position focuses on driving membership growth, enhancing member retention, and increasing engagement through education, communication, and events. The role allows for work-from-home but does require living in Florida due to local travel needs from time-to-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with members and non-members, educating them on how to leverage association resources to support and grow their businesses.
- Plan, execute, and manage the association’s social media content strategy.
- Maintain and enhance the association’s website to reflect current initiatives, events, and member resources.
- Collaborate with industry education partners to coordinate and deliver on-site Continuing Education (CE) opportunities.
- Represent the association at Title Underwriter events to promote membership and build industry relationships.
- Create and distribute a monthly newsletter featuring relevant industry updates, association news, and upcoming events.
- Plan, organize, and execute networking events that foster member connections and engagement within Florida.
- Manage and update membership records, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the database.
- Thoroughly understand FLTA member benefits and services and be able to relate others to them
- Serve as the staff liaison to the Membership Committee, supporting its initiatives and communications.
- Assist with seminar logistics, including on-site setup, breakdown and registration support; create digital images for the promotion of association events and/or activities.
- Oversee budgets related to membership initiatives and projects, ensuring responsible financial management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
The role of the Membership Engagement and Outreach Coordinator will require travel more than 25% of the time. A reliable vehicle is a must.
