Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
About Curacity
Curacity is the leading media brand network driving measurable revenue for luxury and lifestyle hotels through brand-elevating exposure to high-value travelers. Leveraging proprietary technology and first-party data through partnerships with top travel publications like AFAR and Travel+Leisure, our platform delivers validated 10×–20× ROI. Named among Inc. 5000’s Top 20 Travel & Hospitality Companies and Digiday’s Best Content Marketing Platform of 2024, Curacity is headquartered in New York and Stamford, CT.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced data analyst (5–8 years) to build forecasting and yield optimization models that maximize performance across Curacity’s publisher network. This role will focus on predicting attribution outcomes for hotel × publisher × time period combinations (e.g., by newsletter and month) and designing strategies that optimize yield — ensuring hotels achieve stronger ROI while publishers maximize the value of their inventory.
This is an individual contributor role with high visibility. You will own projects end-to-end, from data ingestion to advanced modeling to delivering insights consumed by the Publisher Partnerships and Product teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop forecasting models to predict attribution outcomes by hotel, publisher, and time period (newsletter and monthly horizons).
- Build and refine yield optimization frameworks to allocate publisher inventory efficiently and maximize ROI for hotels.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including attribution data, publisher performance metrics, seasonality, and external signals.
- Apply advanced methods such as time series forecasting, causal inference, clustering, and optimization algorithms
- Deliver reporting and insights to Publisher Partnerships and Product teams to guide decision-making and product feature development.
- Build dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar) to make outputs accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to embed forecasting and yield models directly into Curacity’s platform.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of professional experience in data science, forecasting, or yield management roles.
- Strong expertise in time series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet / Seasonalty, LSTM / Neural Network, etc.) and optimization techniques (allocation models, pricing algorithms, bandits, RL).
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and wrangling.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and/or R for modeling and statistical analysis.
- Experience integrating and analyzing large, complex datasets from multiple sources (publisher analytics, attribution, CRM, external benchmarks).
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical outputs into clear business impact.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with Publisher Partnerships, Product, and Engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in adtech yield management, publisher optimization, or programmatic media.
- Exposure to hospitality, travel, or performance marketing attribution.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Snowflake).
- Experience operationalizing forecasting and optimization models into production environments.
Why Curacity?
You’ll join an award-winning, fast-growing team at the intersection of luxury travel and cutting-edge adtech, with the opportunity to shape the future of hospitality marketing.
