About WIZO USA:
WIZO USA is dedicated to promoting and supporting the vital work of WIZO in Israel through a network of regional and local chapters. WIZO chapters across the US are tightknit groups of impassioned women supporting Israel through advocacy, fundraising, and community building.
Founded in 1920, the Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO) is a non-political, global movement committed to improving the lives of women, children, and the elderly in Israel. As the country’s leading social welfare and education nonprofit, WIZO serves over 70,000 people every day through hundreds of programs and facilities.
From youth villages and schools that empower at-risk children, to shelters for women escaping domestic violence, and specialized programs for families of reservists, WIZO delivers critical services to people of all ages, denominations, and backgrounds throughout Israel.
