Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of YellaWood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking a Marketing Assistant. This is a part-time position offering competitive pay.
Essential Duties
- Assists in executing marketing strategies and objectives.
- Assists in proposal writing and presentations, including online and video.
- Assists with design, content and implementation of company’s web site(s) and eStrategy.
- Assists with newsletter, direct mail, advertising writing, editing and proofing.
- Assists in implementing public relations programs and trade shows.
- Makes space reservations for trade show booths and coordinates shipping of booth materials, booth set-up and staffing.
- Assists with photography and video/film shoots and production.
- Coordinates involvement in community organizations and events, including speech writing assistance.
- Assists with ad contracts and placement.
- Implements and administers the company’s customer co-op advertising program.
