Prestonwood Country Club, a premier private club in Cary, is seeking a detail-oriented
Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations, recruitment, and employee onboarding.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR team in all areas of recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detailed-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations, maintain employee records, update HR database.
- Assist with recruiting, interviews, offers, and pre-employment screenings.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training activities.
- Respond to employee HR inquiries and assist with reports.
- Manage the employee newsletter.
- Participate in organizing company events, meetings, and other HR-related activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience.
- Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR systems and Canva a plus.
- High school diploma OR equivalent Administrative or HR experience required; HR or Business degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- $21–23/hour
- Health, dental, vision, life, disability, vacation and sick time (after 30 days)
