Brief Description
The Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in marketing campaigns, advertising, email strategy, content creation, and more. Ideal for students studying marketing or communications. This internship offers valuable insight into industry practices while contributing to ArtsQuest’s presence across multiple platforms.
Requirements
Major Responsibilities:
Creative writing for emails, blogs, and advertisements
Creation & distribution of digital & physical advertisements
Contribute with the creation of weekly newsletter emails.
Proficient in strategically incorporating branding elements to maintain a cohesive brand voice across different channels.
Knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials.
Strategize innovative approaches to reach core markets across multiple digital mediums.
Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional events, gaining hands-on experience events off campus.
Interns will help work off campus tabling events, meeting and engaging with patrons (obtaining email addresses from new patrons for our database & volunteers)
Interns may be present at ArtsQuest events where they will act as photographers and videographers.
Specific Job Skills
Currently pursuing or holding degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
Passion for the Arts
Exceptional creative writing skills
Ability to set and adhere to strict deadlines.
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Well-rounded knowledge of current marketing trends and market dynamics
Enthusiastic about trying new strategies and fostering community engagement within the arts.
