Key Responsibilities
Subscription Growth Leadership
- Own full P&L performance of the individual subscription business, including acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Develop and execute a clear, forward-looking growth strategy grounded in subscription economics.
- Identify and launch bold, creative initiatives that materially accelerate subscriber growth.
- Lead experimentation across pricing, packaging, onboarding, and engagement models.
Acquisition & Lifecycle Strategy
- Oversee acquisition across organic, paid, partnerships, editorial channels, and product-led growth.
- Build a sophisticated retention and lifecycle marketing function focused on habit formation and long-term loyalty.
- Elevate newsletter-driven growth strategies and audience development initiatives.
- Optimize conversion funnels while maintaining premium brand positioning.
Analytics & Performance Management
- Establish rigorous growth forecasting and measurement frameworks.
- Develop actionable insights that explain performance drivers, not just surface metrics.
- Balance data-informed decision-making with strong executive judgment.
- Prioritize investments based on impact, efficiency, and strategic alignment.
