ALUMNI RELATIONS (UA-ALUM-IUBLA)
The Indiana University Alumni Association's (IUAA) mission is to activate and support the global alumni network of more than 800,000 IU graduates - encouraging alumni to grow a lifelong connection with Indiana University and inspiring their ongoing generosity toward each other and the university.

The IUAA activates IU's powerful global network through live and virtual events, volunteer opportunities, scholarship programs, compelling IU content, and seriously fun traditions. Additionally, the association develops and supports volunteer leadership, serves as a voice for alumni as the university evolves, and provides lifelong learning opportunities.
- Works for the Market Engagement and Communities team.
- Serves on the Student Alumni Association and IU Homecoming Steering Committee.
- Responsible for writing and designing materials that enhance our current programming and communications designed for alumni and volunteers from each of Indiana University's 9 campuses and centers.
- Writes and sends a weekly newsletter to all volunteers designed to update and engage them on IUAA activities, highlight policies and requirements, and steward volunteers to celebrate and thank them for their efforts.
- Creates content for alumni communities across the country, including newsletters, social media posts, and print materials.
- Supports the team's volunteer management program and strategy, including but not limited to survey development, data analysis and entry, report building, and resource creation.
- Supports liaisons with onboarding, development, and stewardship of volunteers. Processes event requests and update volunteer information in our donor and alumni advancement system.
- Helps with mailing swag boxes, gifts, and other items to volunteers and alumni across the country.
- Supports primary event functions alongside IUAA staff, such as registration, set-up, tear-down, tabling, and more for corporate IUAA and Alumni Communities-specific events.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Required
- Enrolled as an undergraduate student at Indiana University Bloomington for academic year 2026-27
Experience

- Experience creating communications for a defined audience

This position is for Academic Year 2026-2027 with the potential to extend to future semesters. Position will begin in August 2026.
