Position Overview
The Ford Field and River Club is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to support the communications and marketing departments. This position will work 10-15 hours per week, assisting with social media content creation, LinkedIn posts, and member event photography and videography, ensuring all content aligns with the club’s brand and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Content Creation: Develop and post engaging content, including videos, reels, stories, and photos, for platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Work to enhance our presence and assist in achieving our goal to reach 10K followers on Facebook. In coordination with the Director of Marketing – contributes, monitors, and reviews all social media content and updates to ensure continuity of messaging across all platforms
- Photography and Videography: Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of member events for use in digital communications. Responsible for photos and videos of all club events for the club newsletter, blog, and social media and all promotional materials. Create all new employee welcome videos and emails to introduce them to the membership at Ford.
- LinkedIn Updates: Create professional posts to highlight club initiatives, employee achievements, and community engagement.
· Also responsible for varied additional projects as directed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and basic video editing tools.
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
- Strong photography and videography skills, including editing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
- Familiarity with Canva
- Experience in hospitality, luxury clubs, or private community settings.
- Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging and brand-consistent content.
