Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Albuquerque, NM, for a Business Relations Specialist. The Business Relations Specialist will focus on service line growth efforts of Hospital Services Corporation. Researches, develops and implements new marketing programs and assists with development of new products and services to meet customer needs. Works in conjunction with program managers to successfully implement the company’s customer relations program.
Qualifications
- Proven capabilities in Business Relations and Business Development to foster strong networks and contribute to growth initiatives.
- Strong Communication and Sales skills to effectively engage with clients and negotiate value-driven solutions.
- Experience in presenting information to varied audiences to enhance understanding of offered services.
- Willingness to work on-site in Albuquerque, NM, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Other qualifications such as customer relationship management skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in the healthcare services industry are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develops annual marketing plan with President and service line leaders.
- Responsible for relationship development and sales to hospitals, health plans, physician practices, and other healthcare providers, and the general business community, inside and outside New Mexico. Follows through on customer contacts to ensure that the appropriate documentation and contracts are received.
- Assists with customer needs assessment, research, development, and implementation of new programs and new business markets to ensure continued growth of the organization.
- Visits customers on a regular basis to determine needs for additional services and to ensure the highest standards of customer service are being provided.
- Identifies new prospects, establishes new contacts, and oversees the development of proposals for various departments.
- Makes technical and high level marketing presentations to hospitals, health plans, physician practices and other healthcare providers, and the general business community.
- Assists in the development of marketing materials, brochures, press releases, web and social presence, newsletter, and other materials for various programs. Promotes new features and offerings to appropriate audiences.
- Maintains the company’s customer relationship management application to document leads, relationship development, and sales successes.
- Provides sales and marketing assistance to endorsed partners through written communications to members, telephone contact, direct mail, webinars and on-site visits. Acts as liaison and troubleshooter between endorsed partners and customers.
- Assists in the contract negotiation process between endorsed partners and Hospital Services Corporation.
- Actively supports and participates in companywide performance excellence programs and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the President.
