Role Description
This is a high-visibility, "front-of-house" leadership role designed for a hunter who wants to build a premier community from the ground up. As the Director of Community & IR, you will own the Bouken Select "Gated" Engine.
Your primary mandate is to grow our dealflow newsletter subscriber base, particularly among senior engineers, CTOs, and technical leaders who prefers deal-by-deal SPVs vs. a dedicated fund, and to manage that end-to-end experience.
Responsibilities
- Ecosystem Architecture: Design and scale the "Gated" onboarding process to convert high-signal prospects into active startup newsletter subscribers.
- Strategic Outreach: Cultivate a network of Distinguished Engineers, Founders, and HNWIs who value our way of democratizing the startup dealflow.
- Deal Narratives: Partner with the Managing Partner to co-author high-conviction startup memos that translate deep-tech moats into compelling opportunities.
- Subscriber Attribution: Manage the tracking and growth of the "Bouken Select" subscriber engine, ensuring high engagement and retention across our deal flow.
- Founder Interface: Act as a bridge between our portfolio founders and our audience base to facilitate strategic value-add.
Qualifications
- Venture Mastery: You understand the mechanics of carry, SPVs, like the back of your hand.
- The "Hunter" DNA: You enjoy the "messy" phase of building a program and have the discipline to hit growth targets for new subscribers.
- Technical Fluency: You are comfortable interfacing with Distinguished Engineers, Leaders and CTOs who may not be very familiar with startup investing. You can speak "infra" as well as you speak "finance."
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional written skills for preparing technical investment memos and building high-trust investor relationships.
Compensation
- This is a performance-driven role designed for long-term wealth building. Compensation includes, Attribution Carry Interest, Performance Bonuses, and Direct Deal Upside
