The Role
The Marketing Manager leads the marketing of The Dink’s robust digital ecosystem spanning newsletter, website, social and audio/video, as well as owned and partnership events. You are responsible for managing brand partnerships, overseeing event marketing and contributing to growth across all channels.
This is a unique opportunity to drive the marketing strategy and execution of a flagship media brand at the center of the fastest growing sport in the world.
What You’ll Own
Client & Partnership Execution
- Own the end-to-end execution of all partnership, advertising, and sponsorship campaigns post-sale
- Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication, expectations, approvals, and timelines
- Proactively anticipate issues, troubleshoot challenges, and resolve problems before they happen
- Learn each client’s business, goals, target audience, and marketing strategy to inform execution and optimization
- Plan and manage campaign timelines, milestones, deliverables, and organization across multiple media channels
- Deliver wrap reports with actionable insights that drive renewals
Consumer Marketing
- Manage the marketing calendar across all of The Dink’s products and partnerships: newsletter, social, web, YouTube, podcasts, The Dink Minor League Pickleball and sponsorships
- Spearhead content marketing strategies based on business objectives, audience engagement metrics and growth targets across newsletter, social, web, YouTube, podcasts and The Dink Minor League Pickleball
- Create and deploy marketing campaigns, leverage data and analytics to optimize and iterate, oversee execution to drive successful outcomes
- Work with SEO specialist to ensure web based content is optimized to deliver the best results across marketing campaigns
- Ideate and build marketing products (give aways, landing pages, social activations, events) to grow The Dink’s brand awareness and audience
- Work with the Editorial team to run strategic and revenue driving Affiliate Marketing campaigns
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, media and content
- Previous experience in project management, with the ability to plan and ensure flawless execution of multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of key marketing metrics and KPIs (CTR, CPC, open rate, engagement rate, CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.) with a track record of crafting data-driven campaigns to hit targets
- Ability to create and design assets and write high-performing copy
- Someone who is hands on, scrappy, takes initiative and problem solves
- Demonstrated ability to operate under tight deadlines

- 100% execution across sponsor campaigns leading to high renewal rate
- 50% growth in website traffic and affiliate/programmatic revenue
- 50% growth in total Social audience
- 100% growth in YouTube revenue and audience
- Award winning Consumer Marketing campaign for The Dink Minor League Pickleball Championship
- 100% growth in viewership for The Dink Minor League Pickleball Championships
