This is a hybrid position requiring an on-site presence 3 to 4 days per week. Please note that the number of days on-site can increase based on business needs.
The Manager, Inclusion and Community Impact will play a central role in advancing Sysco's commitment to inclusion, belonging, and community impact. This role supports the full portfolio of Inclusion and Community Impact programs and is responsible for leading and managing strategic partnerships that advance both internal and external inclusion and community impact efforts.
Reporting to the Director of Community Impact, the Manager will oversee nonprofit and programmatic partner relationships, support Global Good goal tracking and reporting, internal database management, and translate data and outcomes into compelling stories. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong relationship-building skills, comfort navigating complexity, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy, execution, and communication.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Sysco's portfolio of Inclusion and Community Impact partnerships, including nonprofit organizations and external collaborators that support inclusion, belonging, and community impact priorities
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Inclusion, Community Impact, Sustainability, Communications, HR, and other functions to advance shared goals
- Support the development, tracking, and reporting of Global Good goals, including analyzing data, monitoring progress, and identifying insights and opportunities
- Translate quantitative and qualitative data into clear, compelling stories that communicate impact to internal and external audiences
- Partner with communications teams to develop storytelling assets such as impact narratives, presentations, reports, and leadership-ready materials
- Support the development of the Inclusion and Community Impact report, including content development, data synthesis, and coordination with internal partners
- Identify opportunities to strengthen, evolve, or streamline partnerships based on impact, alignment, and business relevance
- Support inclusion and belonging initiatives by working with internal partners and external experts to advance learning, engagement, and cultural initiatives
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution
- Field data and information requests from colleagues and other departments related to Inclusion, Community Impact, and Global Good initiatives
- Collect information and write the monthly Inclusion and Community Impact newsletter, sharing data insights and partner stories
- Contribute to team planning, process improvement, and the continuous evolution of Inclusion and Community Impact programs
- Stay informed on trends and best practices in corporate social responsibility, inclusion and belonging, nonprofit partnerships, and social impact measurement
Education
- Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, community impact, inclusion and belonging, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience managing nonprofit or external partnerships, including relationship management and impact tracking
- Experience working cross-functionally in a complex organization
- Experience translating data and outcomes into compelling stories, insights, or narratives for diverse audiences
- Experience supporting or leading inclusion-focused initiatives is strongly preferred
