Job Summary
A Lead delivers high quality work to meet broader team, project, or program objectives. They develop intermediate Team Operations knowledge and skills that enables them to make recommendations to improve existing processes and explore innovative solutions, enabling others to deliver high quality work as well. In addition, they actively mentor or coach team members.
In-Office Expectations
- This is a primarily in-person role, with the expectation that you are onsite during core business hours 5 days per week.
- While some flexibility may be available, you must be proactive and responsive to onsite needs, with the ability to arrive early, stay late, or adjust hours as required to support events, office operations, vendor coordination, catering, and other in-person logistics.
- Demonstrates a high level of reliability and accountability in maintaining a consistent and visible presence in the office.
- Acts as a key onsite point of contact, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for employees, guests, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of the strategy and vision for all Market programs, including recognition, connection/people experience, internal, community, and client events, onboarding and communications.
- Partner with Chief of Staff, Business Operations and other program managers within the Market, Region, and/or Capabilities.
- Support the execution of Market Leader’s vision.
- Adapt and implement any processes or needs at an Office level from the various Global Services and Executive Programs Teams. (when applicable)
- Deliver complex work to meet functional or program objectives and drive efficiencies and improvements.
- Ability to support the development of advanced Team Operations knowledge and skills to innovative high-quality solutions.
- Demonstrate values-based leadership and actively work to mentor and coach team members and/or direct reports. (where applicable)
- Plan, oversee, document, and educate on all aspects of the projects you are managing; host “after-action reviews” to ensure continuous improvement.
- Support special projects as needs arise. (ad-hoc basis)
- Build relationships with other operations teams to foster communication, share best practices, and learn from one another.
- Serve as one of the Market’s “Purchasing Super Users” – utilizing company credit card for office and event-related purchases, reconciling all expenses monthly, updating budget trackers, submitting requisitions and invoices via Oracle.
- Serve as the building liaison, and manages office, building, facilities, conferences and meeting rooms
- Partner with Marketing to executive marketing events and campaigns
- Manage Microsoft Teams and Viva Engage platforms
Event and Meeting Support
- Support internal office meetings and events in the office, including but not limited to coordinating presentation content (deck), scheduling, room preparation, food/beverage orders, supplies, set up, and teardown.
- Support planning and execution of external and larger, Market-wide events, including but not limited to set up/teardown, venue sourcing, contracting, food & beverage, communications, swag, design and collateral, registration, A/V, etc.
- Partner with our Community Groups and programs to create impactful team events that promote engagement and our culture.
- Maintain office events and meetings calendar.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Support and execution of Market Recognition (ex. birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, life events, gifting, etc.) as outlined in Slalom’s Guide to Life.
- Support and execution of Awards Programs (ex. Quarterly Awards – nomination and selection process, gifting)
New Hire Onboarding
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, People Leaders, IT, and Welcome Program to support new hires.
- Support New Hire Orientation, including scheduling, updating presentations, and facilitation. (if applicable)
- Ensure new hires are connected to necessary systems, events, and distribution lists.
- Prepare and ship new hire welcome kit.
- Organize and facilitate office tours.
Special Projects
- May be asked to support various special projects / events as needed for the Office or Market, Capabilities Teams, People Business Partners (PBP’s), Global Services, etc.
Communications
- Manage Market communication channels/tools. (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Slack, Calendar, Viva Engage, etc.) (if applicable)
- Maintain the Office 101 SharePoint page.
- Creation, ownership, and management of various Distribution Lists.
- Newsletter (if applicable)
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required (5+ years of office management or similar).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional communicator with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and Zoom.
- Have reliable transportation to/from office location as well as other event locations as needed.
- Ability to lift and move 25 pounds.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary range is $90,000-$95,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
