Role is Onsite 5 days a week in San Jose (no hybrid or remote)
Seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our
growing team! In this hands-on role, you’ll support conference planning, digital and social
media initiatives, and marketing campaigns, helping our organization generate brand
awareness and sales leads.
Responsibilities
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Event planning:
- Assist with planning, setup, event calendars, shipping, and overall execution of
- conferences, tradeshows, and promotional activities
- Create collateral with Adobe Creative cloud to support events and the business
- As needed, greet and engage attendees in a friendly, professional manner, distribute
- informational materials and answer questions about the organization or products
- Support event team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with event takedown and post-event cleanup
- Track attendance, engagement, and feedback for future improvements
- Digital Strategy:
- Develop digital strategy, and identify and monitor associated metrics.
- Content creation and messaging for a variety of target audiences and channels
- Understand paid digital, and develop and execute targeted campaign, monitoring
- results and adjusting for top performance.
- Website management
- Creation and distribution of a quarterly newsletter.
- Development, marketing, and delivery of user webinars for related technical content
- Marketing Support:
- An ever changing variety of tasks needed to keep a start-up marketing team
- functioning smoothly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism (or other related field)
- or a relevant combination of experience, education, and training
- 7+ years of professional experience in marketing creating collateral, content and social
- media management
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, and managing multiple
- marketing projects from beginning to end
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools including Hubspot Marketing Hub.
- Proofreading, editing and standardizing proposal text for proper grammar, spelling,
- comprehension and style while adhering to brand standardizations. High attention to
- detail is critical.
- Experience in developing and executing digital strategy and social media and
- website management.
