Join our Guided Personal Supports (GPS) team as a Program Coordinator and play a hands-on role in supporting people to thrive in their communities through person-centered, individualized services.
The
Program Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting individuals and families participating in the GPS program. This position oversees the implementation of Individual Support Contracts, ensures quality service delivery, and partners closely with families, providers, and internal staff to help individuals achieve meaningful community participation and independent living goals.
The GPS program includes services such as College Navigation, Autism Coaching, In-Home Supports, Agency with Choice, and services in collaboration with the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB).
Job Type: Full time, in person
Pay rate: $27-29/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Complete clinical intake for new clients entering GPS programs
- Establish relationship with families and clients to ensure that goals are being addressed and needs are being met by providers
- Coordinate initial provider/client meeting in order to explain program and develop service plan
- Assist with new staff onboarding and training as needed
- Develops monthly newsletter to send to families served by the GPS program
- Provides 1:1 direct service as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology or related field.
- At least 1 year experience working in the human services or disability fields.
