CORE Foodservice is looking to hire a
Vice President of Client Management !
The VP- Client Management acts as the principal lead to committed clients nationally and divisionally and is accountable for driving sales performance and effectiveness throughout the national divisional footprint by working collaboratively with the client and Directors, Client Management to proactively develop, implement, and oversee client go-to-market strategies. Oversees and directs specific Client Management projects and initiatives. This position reports into the Senior Vice President, Client Management.
What are We Looking For?

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- At least 10 years of Sales and Sales Management experience

- Demonstrate and sell our client partner Food and Non-Food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, hotels and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Works directly with SVP, Client Management, to implement CORE Foodservice client management business processes
- Work collaboratively with the segment/channel leadership to ensure connectivity between teams.
- Establish ways to assist sales management teams in utilizing BI tools to easily facilitate divisional and local client management and drive sales growth.
- Develop an effectual systems environment to ensure consistency is client business reviews and client reports.
- Engages in national and divisional client reviews.
- Oversees information provided in weekly client newsletter.
- Anticipate, identify, and present as necessary any problems requiring Senior Management involvement.
- National/Divisional primary contact between committed manufacturing client and the respective CORE division.
- Works closely with client to establish a collaborative relationship built on trust and results.
- Responsible for strategic client focus and accountability, collaborative business planning, streamlined communication, performance measurement, and driving bonus qualifications and results.
- Focus on establishing organizational goals for growth and increased shared results at the divisional and local market level.
- Develop, administer, and coordinate business plans/objectives for “client managed” clients in conjunction with CORE’s National Client Leaders, divisional sales team and Local Client Managers utilizing CRM.
- Manage and lead by example, including monitoring results against sales volume and performance objectives. Lead the strategic planning process within CORE divisional sales team.
- Proactively define new and innovative opportunities to maximize client volume, profitability, and brand equity.
- Potential responsibility for managing other people in client management roles within their division.
- Understand the client sales and marketing strategies and provide proactive diagnosis and recommendations where opportunity exists.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide effective solutions to counteract competitive situations.
- Conduct trimester review meetings within divisional sales organizations to share and exchange ideas, successes, failures, and review progress toward goals.
- Continually evaluates and refines business strategies with Local Client Managers to ensure continued focus and that goals are achieved.
- Builds relationships within various levels of client’s management teams to maximize sales effectiveness between the client and CORE Foodservice.
- Works collaboratively with the Senior Vice President, Client Management to identify, coordinate and direct special projects that benefit CORE Foodservice an enhance value to committed clients.
- Leverages industry events, publications, and announcements to identify trends.
- Communicates trends and industry information to clients and company managers to maintain a current and relevant business position.
- Maintains organization's credibility by keeping information confidential.
- Continually looks for new and different ways to bring value to our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business) and a minimum of ten years of foodservice client management.
- Advanced leadership and business management skills.
- Ability to quickly translate client and industry information into actionable strategy.
- Ability to build relationships within all levels of client and agency organizations.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-starter who can prioritize schedule to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Punctual, meticulous, and reliable.
