What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee and optimize company social pages (LinkedIn, YouTube & Twitter) to increase awareness and visibility; plan, create and publish social media posts (text, images, video) 2-3x/week; define goals and monitor KPIs, identify keywords and hashtags for SEO; monitor daily engagement; gather insights and share with the team and the client in weekly meetings. (40%)
- Evaluate and enhance investor-facing marketing assets for clients including IR websites, investor decks, fact sheets, news releases, social media copy (LinkedIn & Twitter), management Q&A, conference call scripts, etc. in collaboration with key stakeholders. (15%)
- Participate in weekly client meetings to present content plans/updates, social analytics, and to stay informed of client developments; provide monthly and/or quarterly reporting for social channels and manage ad-hoc email marketing campaigns. (10%)
- Develop a working knowledge of investor relations, the capital markets and each client’s industry as well as key market trends. (10%)
- Write a weekly short-form “how-to” blog post focused on investor relations’ best practices. (10%)
Additionally:
- Contribute regular content and ideas to monthly corporate newsletter, website, and social media (10%)
- Support Partners and Managing Directors on ad hoc projects. (5%)
Who you are:
- 2+ years’ experience in a communications/social media/content role (internships considered)
- BS/BA in public relations, communications, business or relevant field
- Strong analytical, verbal, visual and written communications skills
- Strong business acumen with exceptional client service and time management skills
- Passion for marketing, social media, the capital markets and business
- International and/or capital markets experience, a big plus!
Skills:
- Marketing, branding, public relations and content creation across forms and channels
- SEO-based writing, research, and editing across channels
- Ability to grasp and translate complex information into a clear, concise and compelling stories according to medium
- Experience or knowledge in managing social channels, particularly company pages on LinkedIn and Twitter
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint
- Proactive, collaborative self-starter who is skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous deadline-sensitive projects and activities.
- A problem-solver with a strong attention to detail-oriented
- Interest in business, the capital markets, investing and marketing.
