Soundboard, a revenue-generating software start-up founded at MIT, is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager.

The Growth Marketing Manager Role:
You will be the company's first dedicated marketing hire. As Growth Marketing Manager, your focus will be to generate brand awareness, and drive revenue growth by acquiring and nurturing leads at scale. The role is responsible for the entire marketing funnel and executing on opportunities to grow our customer acquisition.
The ideal candidate is excited to help drive growth and impact in a fast-growing startup. They are comfortable taking extreme ownership and working in environments with high ambiguity. This role is for a highly efficient self-starter who is organized, enjoys troubleshooting, and excels in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
This role requires a minimum of two years of hands-on marketing experience, or demonstrably strong exposure to the marketing function within a growth company.
This role reports to the CEO but will be highly cross-functional with the product, engineering, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's growth marketing strategy
- Identify new channels for customer acquisition and improve existing channels
- Create and design marketing assets using Canva, Figma, PPT, and/or AI tools (Midjourney, GPT)
- Create compelling content independently using excellent writing skills
- Share and promote content through the company's social media (Facebook, LinkedIn), newsletter, and blog
- Drive organic traffic and boost paid conversions through SEO/SEM expertise
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to enhance the customer conversion rates of campaigns
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align marketing initiatives with product development (i.e., articulate and assist the product team in developing products that help to drive landing page traffic)
Base Salary: The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000.
Final salary offers will be a combination of a candidate’s skills, experience, and in consideration of current internal salaries.
About Soundboard:
Soundboard is an MIT-founded, revenue-generating software start-up that helps solo-practitioners (such as therapists, executive coaches, college counselors, etc.) organize their client records, get paid quicker, and automate their daily tasks.
In the past few months, more than 40 businesses have adopted Soundboard to manage their entire client portfolio, and 17 of these businesses have converted into paying customers. To date, Soundboard has facilitated more than $400,000 in payments to our customers.
Nahel and Aaron (MIT Sloan Alumni), built Soundboard to help their mothers (who are solo-practitioners) and others like them. Looking ahead, Soundboard will target the growing market of 7 million hourly-based solo-practitioners in the US.
