We are looking for a Marketing Associate with strong technical writing skills to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers the opportunity to contribute to marketing campaigns, content creation, and event planning. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in marketing tasks, and proficient in tools like Excel and social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design, execution, and management of marketing campaigns and events under the guidance of senior team members.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, V-lookup, and Text-to-Column, to analyze and organize data.
• Manage social media scheduling and content creation using Hootsuite and other relevant tools.
• Proofread and edit a variety of marketing materials, such as social media posts, blogs, and agency-created content, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Write compelling content for social media platforms, blogs, and articles for the annual newsletter.
• Collaborate with the team to update and maintain H-Change letters and other communication materials.
• Learn and adapt to custom policy administration software for specific marketing tasks.
• Support the team with general administrative duties related to marketing and campaign management.
• At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role, with a preference for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables, V-lookup, and Text-to-Column.
• Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite and the ability to schedule and manage campaigns.
• Strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free marketing materials.
• Excellent writing abilities for creating engaging content across various platforms, including blogs, social media, and newsletters.
• Experience with any policy administration software is a plus, though training will be provided.
• A detail-oriented and organized approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
