CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Pasqually’s Pizza and Wings restaurants, has an immediate opening at our Support Center based in Irving, Texas for an experienced Content Marketing Specialist to join the Chuck E. Cheese Marketing Team. This role will sit on the Brand Marketing team within the Marketing Team but will also assist all team members within the Marketing department, as well as other departments as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
· The core responsibility for this role will be to create custom content and copy for the comprehensive Web Content Strategy – throughout multiple touchpoints along the customer journey, including but not limited to:
- Blog / SEO Content on Websites
- Email Newsletter Articles / Topics
- Select Social Media Copy
· Curate and create weekly Email Newsletter content and schedule messaging via the preferred CRM, working with multiple stakeholders and department heads to collect relevant content.
· Work with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to create Messaging Matrixes for core initiatives, to maintain consistency of messaging throughout all touchpoints.
· Assist Brand Marketing Team in copywriting for TV/Radio spots, Campaign Collateral and more.
· Assist Digital Marketing Manager in Custom Blogs / Website Content that will enhance SEO value throughout all owned properties.
· Assist Public Relations team with content / copywriting for Press Releases and other needs for mass-market media publications.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communications (or relevant field experience) required
· 3+ years of experience in content development / copywriting preferred, working on the brand/client or agency-side
· Prior Experience with multiple CRM and ESP platforms – ability to create segments, utilize a drag-and-drop email editor and other related tasks
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
· Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
· Demonstrated ability to schedule, prioritize, and manage simultaneous projects
· Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
· Ability to interact and influence effectively with all management levels, external partners, and personality types
· Strong organizational and time management

· Strong Organizational Skills – this role will be responsible for collecting topics, content and creating content to be utilized in a variety of different ways across multiple consumer touchpoints – it is imperative this person is able to maintain strong organization and structure during the process.
· Strong Collaborative Mindset – key to this role’s success will be the ability to collaborate with others and take feedback and recommendations with an open-mind. This role must have the unique ability to work openly and collaboratively with a variety of different departments and personalities.

Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with the repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel to various locations by airplane or by operating a vehicle if needed.
