Jordan Rosner, founder of Jordan Elyse Photography is seeking an individual who has time flexible and is readily available to assist on newborn photo shoots as well as handle marketing and managerial assisting needs. The position is for someone who is also interested in growing with the company. This individual must be achievement-oriented, highly organized, a good communicator and reliable. The role requires the candidate to be a creative thinker and brainstorming partner.
Job Tasks
· Assisting on newborn photo sessions - helping with posing babies, props, and set design. Loading and unloading of equipment. Studio and on site set prep and breakdown.
· Capture behind the scenes candids to be used for social media.
· Supporting business owner with executing marketing activities
· Requesting and compiling testimonials from clients, answering clients’ questions
· Brainstorming set ideas and shopping for set needs.
· Managing online contracts and invoicing using a studio management software
· Communication and follow-up with clients
· Assist in creating a monthly email newsletter via desktop publishing software as well as other marketing announcements
Appreciated background and experience:
· Marketing, photography and/or social media background or study and passion
· Creative thinker who will brainstorm marketing ideas in partnership with business owner
· Tech savvy including uploading images to backend of website Actively engaged in using social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. plus understanding of editing tools.
· Experience with marketing writing such as articles, blogs & newsletters
· Must be reliable, punctual and communicate clearly
· Must have their own transportation and car insurance
· In tune with key trends emerging in social media and able to make appropriate recommendations for how we participate in various social platforms.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Someone who can anticipate needs of others and be one step ahead of me.
· Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player and be a problem solver.
· Ability to collaborate within a business environment and keep up with the business owner.
· Capacity to maintain a professional, composed, patient and calm demeanor always.
· Organized, detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
