This individual will directly report to Roderick Smith, Publisher, and will be instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission to educate target subscribers at industrial plants, engineering firms, and equipment sales engineers on "Sustainable, Safe and Reliable On-Site Utilities". Our brands include: Compressed Air Best Practices, Chiller and Cooling Best Practices, Blower and Vacuum Best Practices, and the Best Practices EXPO.

This is a fully remote role. Travel is 5% of your time, potentially attending industry events and our own Best Practices EXPO.
Qualifications:
You will be focused primarily on maximizing audience reach and engagement by managing planned content schedules with the Senior Editor, collecting industry content, managing website and e-Newsletter content, designing and executing SEO and keywords strategies, and growing our LinkedIn page content and audience.
You will have career growth opportunities to write content for print and digital, as well as manage our quarterly magazine production for Blower & Vacuum Best Practices, pending training and performance of other duties.
● REQUIRED: 3-5 years B2B social media and website marketing experience
● Marketing/Digital Marketing, Media Business, or Journalism degree or experience preferred
● REQUIRED: Expert-level experience with Google Ad Server, GA4, SEO, and LinkedIn strategy, design and execution - ready to start on day one of hire
● Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a deadline-driven environment
● Entrepreneurial self-starter with proven ability to work with small groups, senior staff and solo projects
● Interest in industrial sustainability and energy a plus, including reporting on or exposure to manufacturing industry, decarbonization, greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, water conservation, industrial automation.
Main Projects:
● Assist Senior Editor in editorial production/content management for CABP, CCBP, and BVBP magazines
● Analyze and optimize content mix in digital and print to increase subscriptions and website engagement
● Take on the responsibility for the structure, content, and growth of the magazines' websites and for the LinkedIn pages to drive traffic and engagement
● Active involvement in 2024 company growth phase, including the launch of new programs within the Best Practices Expo & Conference
Day to Day Responsibilities:
● Manage editorial calendars and content planning with the Senior Editor
● Work with the Senior Editor and Graphic Designer to produce and finalize issues for the printer
● Manage website content updates, SEO and keywords to maximize traffic
● Devise website strategy for best traffic flow and conversion
● Devise LinkedIn strategy and manage LinkedIn content for max engagement
● Compilation and posting of industry press releases for print and digital channels
● Manage barter agreements with partners to enhance circulation and event content
● Manage editorial content for monthly e-newsletters, test e-newsletter strategies for engagement
● Work with the Circulation and Sales teams on GA4 reporting, Google Ad Server tasks, and promotional social media posting
