Joy Circles™ is a transformational program for young people that positively impacts their self-confidence, communication, reading, and self-management skills. The program combines the best of social-emotional learning (SEL) with reading skills improvement utilizing stories, models, and interactive group activities. General Description:

The Administrative Manager will begin as an hourly, part-time position and evolve into a full-time flex-hour professional position as the needs and demands of the Joy Circles program dictate. The individual in this role will be responsible for initiating and maintaining several marketing initiatives, including social media, e-newsletter, video series, and other initiatives that may be created. This individual will manage the day-to-day operation of the business, support the efforts to expand the reach of the program, and provide program facilitator support as needed. This position has significant opportunities for growth and advancement. The position will operate as a hybrid position where some hours are spent in an office while some work can be performed from home.
Responsibilities:
· Following a pre-determined schedule, check social media accounts, mine for opportunities, and post current news, events, and successes.
· Serve as e-newsletter editor; coordinate the content of the e-newsletter “Joyful News”, compile, proof, and distribute each quarter or as otherwise scheduled.
· Plan and record videos for YouTube distribution monthly or as otherwise scheduled.
· Ensure facilitators and trainees have the materials, equipment, and information they need to proceed with their programs. Order supplies as needed.
· Perform outreach to prospective organizations for Joy Circles.
· Maintain location records and testing results so that periodic reports can be generated for publication.
· Provide updates to online Facilitator Certification Program training as needed.
· Visit Joy Circle sites if needed to provide support.
· Serve as a Joy Circles substitute facilitator if needed by a hosting organization.
· Assist in delivering JC² sessions at hosting organizations.
· Assist in facilitating parenting education sessions for hosting organizations.
· Other duties as experience and need dictate.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will bring experience with elementary-aged children either as a teacher, after-school program coordinator, or equivalent experience. Employment with a school as a teacher, counselor, social worker, or aide is a plus but not a requirement. Given Joy Circles is a unique social-emotional learning program, any experience a candidate may have with SEL will be helpful.
The successful candidate will also have relevant experience in marketing, particularly social and mass media marketing. Creative graphic design skills are helpful and a willingness to learn new programs is necessary. This individual must be organized, customer-focused, and a positive, forward-thinking person.
