The Advertising & Marketing Specialist (Internal) will support the Marketing Department in helping to ensure our brand standards are communicated internally and reflected in all of our internal communications. This position will support the Brand Activation & Events Manager on other key initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other design applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience in video editing and production preferred.
- Strong creative and analytical abilities with a track record of developing effective, innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Background, or Experience in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years’ experience in Communication, Advertising, Promotions, or equivalent experience.
- Highly self-directed.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Social Media platforms and analytics.
- Confident and articulate and able to inspire and engage others.
- Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to manage detail work and communicate project status effectively to all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver corporate communications strategy, tactics and demonstrated successful metrics.
- Travel to other locations as required to perform assigned duties, maintaining a valid operator’s license.
- Strong verbal, written, persuasion, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and computer skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and executes internal engagement and culture communications strategy that maintains morale and builds one great team.
- Own content and distribution strategy for internal weekly company newsletter, including editing, proofreading and posting to appropriate channels.
- Develop and manage postings of digital content for company digital displays across multiple locations.
- Own the development and distribution of videos to further communicate key company updates, key messaging and leadership updates, including writing of scripts and pre-production checklists.
- Support internal teams in the development of branded communications for presentations and messaging across the organization, including PowerPoint templates, org charts, banners and other similar materials.
- Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned area, high integrity and accountability standards.
- Assist work team to meet the objectives of the department and the company, levering skills and expertise as needed.
- Project a positive image by interacting with employees, customers and management.
- Recommend to manager ideas to improve the department’s operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes.
- Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code.
- Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly.
- Follow all work, safety rules and procedures
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
