Position Description / Objective
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Marketing & Communications Manager leads and executes the Chamber’s marketing and communications strategy. This role ensures all marketing efforts operate at the highest level of effectiveness and positions the Space Coast Chamber as the primary source, disseminator, and connector of information across the region and its partnership base.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop, implement and manage the Chamber’s integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with the Chamber’s mission, vision, and values.
- Drive brand awareness by maintaining and enforcing the Chamber’s brand story, style guide, and identity standards across all communications.
Marketing & Communications
- Design and produce marketing collateral for Chamber initiatives, including events, advertising opportunities, signage, and printed and digital materials.
- Develop and distribute targeted e-blast communications to Chamber audiences.
- Manage and grow the Chamber’s digital presence, including content, planning, and execution.
- Produce and publish the bi-weekly Space Coast Explorer e-newsletter.
- Manage and update Chamber website content and graphics while ensuring brand alignment and accuracy.
- Write and distribute press releases and original content for publications relevant to the Chamber.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media partners.
- Roll out Chamber app.
Events, Sponsorships & Partnerships
- Develop event scripts, speeches, run-of-show documents, and presentation decks.
- Develop and execute event-related communications, including promotional campaigns, programs, signage, and digital assets.
- Ensure marketing-related sponsorship recognition is fulfilled accurately and consistently in accordance with the annual Sponsorship & Marketing Opportunities Guide.
- Support event execution: including but not limited signage preparation, presentation support, photography, and on-site brand visibility.
Content Creation & Multimedia
- Create relevant and engaging digital content (reels, posts, YouTube, etc.) on a daily basis
- Coordinate with videographers and creative partners to conceptualize, script, and produce video content supporting major Chamber initiatives.
- Serve as primary photographer for events when required and manage photo assets.
Planning, Reporting & Administration
- Create and execute annual marketing and communications plan
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts; recommend and implement continuous improvements.
- Serve as staff liaison to designated Chamber council(s) or committee(s), supporting leadership in planning and executing well-attended, mission-aligned programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
- Exceptional written communication skills across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press materials; portfolio of work required.
- Exceptional digital and print design, planning and execution.
- High level attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and executing paid advertising campaigns.
- Website content management experience required.
- Experience developing video concepts, storyboards, and scripts, and collaborating with videographers.
- Strong collaborative approach with experience contributing to strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships with staff, board members, committees, partners, and community stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently and bring new ideas to execution.
- Photography skills (DSLR) and photo editing experience preferred; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Canva)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect individual initiatives to the Chamber’s broader strategic goals.
- Flexible schedule with availability for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary: $45,000-$54,000 commensurate with experience
· $115 bi-weekly vehicle stipend
· $25 bi-weekly phone stipend
