We are seeking a creative, self-motivated individual to join our Marketing Team under the direction of the Marketing Manager. The Communication Specialist is an entry-level position that will take ownership of e-newsletter management, social media, blog writing and creative development to drive brand awareness and reach marketing goals while encompassing our brand identity.
This position is full time with the ability to do some work remotely after 90 days.
Overview of duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing social media and email content creation, ensuring the growth of brand channels and high levels of engagement while encompassing our brand identity
- Identify and analyze competitors
- Track organic and paid social media KPIs to determine relevant markers of success or area for improvement
- Maintain a social media content calendar
- Manage and create email campaigns
- Maintain an email campaign calendar
- Collaborate with Sales Manager on marketing emails, social posts, and ads to increase sales revenue
- Develop, plan, and execute social media campaigns to develop and grow business
- Digital ad management
- Create + write a blog for our website
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with passion and an ambitious desire to grow and develop personally and professionally.
- Bachelors degree would be preferred with at least 1-2 years of experience
- Sophisticated social media marketing skills with knowledge of best practices on Facebook, Instagram + Reels, TikTok, Threads, and LinkedIn
- Photography experience is a bonus
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate with the Freedom brand voice in a concise manner
- Strict attention to detail, ability to plan, and persistent in getting results
- Self-starter with a take-charge attitude and a sense of pride in project ownership (no micromanagement required!)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to suggest and execute creative solutions
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects with ease
- Adaptable people person with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with diverse audiences
- Well-organized and self-directed
- A total team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, anticipate needs and apply sound judgment in new or unusual situations
- Effectively manage time and prioritize requests to meet deadlines
- Flexible with the ever ebbing and flowing needs of a growing company
