Client Relationship Manager
Growing Charlotte, North Carolina business law firm seeking experienced, personable, and detail-oriented Client Relationship Manager with strong customer service skills/background. The position is remote, but the individual must reside in Charlotte, NC, metro area, as some office and event appearances are required.
The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s potential and existing clients. This includes a variety of strategic and operational tasks aimed at expanding the firm's client base and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Relations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and that they are informed about the firm's services and developments. Answer the main client phone lines and respond to phone calls and emails from clients and in support of the attorneys.
Coordinate client meetings, manage all aspects of incoming and outgoing client correspondence and documents, manage all client-related calendaring systems, files, and practice management system, and meet with clients as needed at the office. Work with attorneys for client-related case management, including court and agency filings and correspondence.
Manage client accounts and billing, including having a detailed knowledge of client accounts, communications with clients by email and phone regarding accounts, processing deposits, time entries, receipts, and expense entries. Coordinating with accounting for all client account questions and requests.
Business Development
Identify and implement strategies to attract and close new clients by managing incoming and outgoing communications, including phone, email, website, social media, or any other means potential clients connect with the firm. Coordinate potential client consultations with attorneys. Manage leads program and calendaring system. Collect and organize data and information from potential clients, events, and lead sources.
Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, and other relevant gatherings. Assist in the organization of firm-hosted or sponsored events, enhancing the firm’s visibility and reputation in the community.
Collaborate with the firm’s marketing efforts to develop content that promotes the firm’s services and continues to enhance both the client and potential client experience, including contributions to the firm’s website, social media, mailings, newsletter, email campaigns, and other materials.
Continue the development of long-term client relationships by supporting client events, managing a gratitude program for clients and referral partners, and coordinating reviews and responses to reviews with marketing.
Team Collaboration
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss strategies, share client and potential client insights and updates, and collaborate on firm-wide initiatives.
Position Requirements
Four-year degree in business or communications fields
2+ years’ experience working with clients, sales, customer service, or communications.
Must be detail-oriented and adept at time management.
Outgoing and positive personality comfortable with speaking to clients or networking
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Skilled at using technology and programs including Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and is able to learn new programs easily.
Creative and adept at using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Self-motivated and able to self-challenge to meet goals.
Adept at customer communication, both written and verbally
Capable of managing deadlines and self-motivation.
