As we continue to grow, we’re looking for motivated and well-connected sales/business development partners to help expand sponsorship and advertising revenue.
About the Role
This is a flexible, remote, commission-based opportunity ideal for someone entrepreneurial who enjoys networking, relationship-building, and working within the entertainment, music, nightlife, or local business communities.
You’ll help identify and secure advertising and sponsorship partnerships with businesses looking to reach engaged local audiences.
Potential client categories include:
- Music venues
- Recording studios
- Rehearsal spaces
- Music schools
- Restaurants and bars
- Cannabis dispensaries
- Festivals and event promoters
- Entertainment brands
- Local lifestyle businesses
Responsibilities
- Prospect and build relationships with potential advertisers and sponsors
- Present sponsorship and advertising opportunities
- Help develop long-term advertising partnerships
- Collaborate on creative promotional ideas and campaigns
- Maintain communication with clients and leads
Ideal Candidates
We’re especially interested in candidates who:
- Have strong local networking or relationship-building skills
- Are passionate about music, entertainment, nightlife, or local culture
- Have experience in sales, media, advertising, hospitality, events, or marketing
- Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Understand local businesses and community engagement
Existing connections within the Capital Region business or entertainment community are a major plus.
