Fall Creek® is creating A World With Better Blueberries™ through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a Marketing Communications & Events Intern.
The Fall Creek® Marketing Communications & Events Intern will support the global marketing team with a focus on events communications and coordination, including the Global High Chill Field + Forum in Oregon, the US Connect event in July, US and Canada trade shows, and additional marketing projects as assigned. The intern will assist with social media content, internal and external communications, event planning, and marketing materials while working with cross-functional teams across multiple regions. Internship Duration: June 22nd - August 28th, 2026.
What you'll do at Fall Creek:
- Support US social media and communications initiatives by assisting with social media captions, content coordination, photography, graphics, and video collection in collaboration with regional teams.
- Assist with drafting and coordinating internal and external communications, including newsletter content, internal announcements, and articles for company communications.
- Support planning and execution of the Global High Chill Field + Forum, including event communications, marketing materials, social media content, signage, photography, video, and hospitality coordination.
- Assist with guest management and event logistics, including registration tracking, transportation coordination, hotel support, and communication with attendees and vendors.
- Support coordination of marketing materials and event assets for tours, field events, trade shows, and research-related activities.
- Assist with planning and execution of US Connect and additional trade shows, including event timelines, marketing collateral, signage, presentations, hospitality, and post-event recaps.
- Coordinate and schedule social media content associated with assigned events and marketing initiatives through established review and approval processes.
- Maintain project trackers, reports, and event planning documentation to support timely communication and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Participate in marketing team meetings, workshops, and collaborative planning sessions to support ongoing department initiatives and professional development.
- Assist with additional marketing projects and assignments as needed.
EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:
- Social media posts and supporting communications content with related graphics, photos, and video assets.
- Active participation in event planning and execution activities with timely project updates.
- Event recaps, reports, and presentation materials assigned.
- Final presentation summarizing internship projects, event support activities, social media insights, and key learnings.
What you bring to Fall Creek:
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills And Training
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with photography, video editing, graphic design, or social media content creation.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling or analytics tools.
- Interest in event planning, marketing, communications, and global marketing initiatives.
- Experience working in collaborative team environments preferred.
