Title: Editorial Admin
Reports To: James Stacey, Editor-in-Chief
Location: SoHo, New York City (in-office required minimum three days per week)
Salary: $70,000-$80,000
Job DescriptionHodinkee is looking for an Editorial Admin to support the editorial team across publishing, scheduling, and social media operations. This is a new role focused primarily on preparing and scheduling stories within our custom content management system (CMS), helping ensure editorial content is accurate, polished, and published on time.
This person will also assist with the day-to-day management of Hodinkee’s Instagram account (1.1M followers).
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, and excited to work in a collaborative, very fast-paced newsroom environment.
Skills & Experience- 3+ years of content management experience, ideally in a newsroom-like environment
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deep interest in watches and watch culture, with a desire to continue learning
- Experience managing schedules, workflows, or publishing systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced editorial environment
- Basic photo editing skills in Photoshop and/or Lightroom
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining accuracy
Nice To Haves- Previous experience in the watch industry
- Enthusiast watch knowledge
- Simple photography experience
