As the Content and Social Media Intern at Cinderblock, you'll play a pivotal role in curating and disseminating engaging content across multiple platforms to enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. Your responsibilities will include:
Newsletter Creation:
- Researching and aggregating content from various news sources, focusing on new music videos, interviews, concerts, and major music industry news stories.
- Crafting compelling blog-style descriptions and content for inclusion in our newsletters.
- Designing and formatting email newsletters using photoshop and video editing software to create eye-catching graphics and gifs.

Social Media Management:
- Editing and sharing clips of music video content owned and licensed by Cinderblock across Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Curating and resharing clips of music video content found on social media sites, utilizing remixes and duets to enhance engagement.
- Scheduling weekly content to ensure consistent and timely updates across our social media platforms.
- Proactively identifying social media trends and content ideas to maintain and grow our online community.
- Providing constructive feedback to the founding team to improve our social media strategy and community engagement efforts.
This role will ideally be 30-40 hours a month and can work with your school to give internship credit.
