The Role:
We're seeking an entry-to-mid level social media & content manager to join our growing Digital Team. This job is right for you if you’re passionate about pop culture, music and entertainment. You’re a strategic and creative thinker who knows how to engage audiences across various digital platforms. As the person responsible for our public facing output, you are thoughtful and intentional about narratives and have a deep love for good storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Digital to craft and execute content strategy for our social media accounts and email newsletter.
- Manage and maintain IHC’s Agency & Brand Content Calendar (Social, Email, Newsletter Playlists and Web)
- Scheduling and publishing posts across IHC’s social media channels
- Produce short-form video content for reels and tiktok accounts
- Work across creative teams to produce assets as needed for social, web, and email
- Weekly & Quarterly social media & email reporting
- Work across client services team to provide social media listening and analytics for client project recaps
- Lead third-party promotional partnership placements including ticket giveaways and paid newsletter placements
- Maintain and upload content to IHC’s website
- Contribute social media ideas for client RFPs
- Onsite event coverage as needed for IHC projects
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience working within social media and digital publishing preferable in music, film, entertainment or agency setting
- Experience executing social media campaigns from ideation to execution
- Experience building social partnerships with community stakeholders
- Knowledge of entertainment industry and a deep affinity for pop culture
- Experience working closely with CMS
- Working knowledge and understanding of major Social Media platforms, their built-in capabilities and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Ability to analyze and interpret data for reporting and strategic planning
- Working knowledge of G-Suite, Asana, AirTable or other relevant organizational tools
- Working knowledge of HootSuite, Sprout social or other comparable social analytic tools
- Imaginative creative ideation and social voice development skills
- Experience with social media design and editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or other equivalent tools)
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of social media best practices and strategies
- Creative and proactive thinker that is solutions oriented
- Design, video and audio editing capabilities
- Detail-oriented person who can juggle multiple tasks
The role is primarily remote, but requires some onsite presence for events and in-person meetings.
