Meritage Hospitality Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the team!
What You’ll Do:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of marketing programs across Meritage Hospitality Group Wendy’s restaurant brands. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, this role coordinates local restaurant marketing, digital communications, internal communications, and community programs — ensuring materials, messaging, and campaign logistics are delivered accurately and on time to restaurant teams in the field.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Local Restaurant Marketing & Sales-Driving Initiatives
- Coordinate local restaurant marketing (LRM) requests from intake through fulfillment, contributing to strategy and ensuring field teams receive accurate materials and instructions on schedule.
- Maintain the LRM tracker and program records to provide clear visibility into active and completed initiatives.
- Support sales-driving programs and community partnerships at the restaurant level — including kids’ nights, anniversaries, school fundraisers, third-party delivery and catering promotions, and media partner programs — managing logistics and associated payments.
Digital Communications
- Manage customer-facing digital channels, keeping online ordering systems, delivery platforms, the corporate website, and the intranet current with limited-time offers and brand standards.
- Coordinate social media content and campaign assets in partnership with the marketing team.
- Maintain in-restaurant digital experiences, including digital signage, RSC screens, and music programming for holidays and promotions.
- Steward the brand asset library so current, approved materials are readily available.
Out-of-Home Advertising
- Manage out-of-home advertising programs — maintaining placement and availability records, processing related invoices, and supporting annual contract renewals.
Internal Communications
- Serve as a central point of contact for marketing requests by monitoring the marketing inbox and routing or responding appropriately.
- Produce and distribute recurring internal communications, including the weekly Monday memo and the monthly company newsletter.
- Administer employee recognition programs and support corporate store order coordination.
Philanthropy & Community Stewardship
- Coordinate charitable and community programs end to end — including foundation campaigns, children’s charity partnerships, Dine to Donate events, and donation and gift card requests — managing materials, field distribution, payments, and reporting.
Real Estate & Restaurant Openings & Closings
- Maintain real estate tracking resources and support restaurant openings, closings, and remodels, including required surveys, construction-phase signage, and grand opening and anniversary planning.
Recruiting Support
- Support talent acquisition through recruiting materials, social media advertising, and related design needs.
