At Todai Health, we are building the "Home Layer" of healthcare. We bridge this gap by connecting individuals living with chronic conditions—starting with Diabetes—to Certified Care Mentors. These are peers who have lived the exact same experience, operating within our proprietary AI Safety Shield to ensure clinical and personal boundaries are strictly respected.
We are currently launching our early MVP stage, focusing exclusively on the US patient market, with long-term plans to expand across North America (USA & Canada). We are building an active, supportive digital ecosystem from the ground up, and we are looking for a strategic, high-energy Founding Community & Content Lead to drive our public relations, brand communications, and patient acquisition.
The Philosophy of This Role
This position requires a powerful blend of high-impact brand communications, PR savvy, and community architecture. In early-stage healthtech, driving strategic buzz, momentum, and authentic excitement around our mission is essential to capturing the market's attention.
We are looking for a founding team member who understands how to leverage modern marketing mechanics to generate massive engagement and visibility. Your objective is to build a high-visibility movement and translate complex behavioral realities into compelling, viral digital content. You will be responsible for creating the initial spark that draws people in, while establishing the long-term credibility required to keep them engaged.
Key Responsibilities
As our Founding Lead (allocating approximately 12 hours per week), you will design and execute the strategy to launch, publicize, and scale our patient ecosystem.
You will take full ownership of:
- Brand Communications & Daily Engagement: You will maintain a highly interactive presence across our channels. This involves driving daily public discussions, handling public relations interactions, answering patient inquiries, and creating a highly responsive environment where the community feels alive and active.
- Multi-Media Content Production: You will operate as a lean, self-sufficient creative engine. You will write high-impact copy, design engaging educational assets, and utilize modern AI video tools to script and produce short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, and viral video challenges) tailored to capture the attention of a US audience.
- Growth & Engagement Strategy: You will develop and execute the playbook to onboard, activate, and retain our earliest members. You know how to design sustainable engagement loops that turn passive observers into active participants and vocal advocates.
- Channel Optimization: You will build and optimize our primary presence on patient-facing digital platforms (such as Facebook Groups, Instagram, or dedicated community hubs) to maximize reach and consumer awareness. Note: Professional networks like LinkedIn will serve as a secondary channel used primarily for corporate milestones and industry updates.
- Cohort Support & Insights: You will manage our early US beta cohort. This includes organizing monthly virtual roundtables, conducting structured discovery interviews to map real-world patient insights, and supporting our frontline Care Mentors.
- Editorial Deep-Dives: You will author a transparent, weekly or bi-weekly digital newsletter covering topics such as the physiological connection between daily stress and blood glucose levels—ensuring the tone is authoritative, highly engaging, and accessible, without crossing into unverified medical advice.
Qualifications
- Deep Empathy for Chronic Health Conditions: You possess a profound understanding of the psychological, behavioral, and emotional realities of individuals living with long-term conditions like diabetes. You know how to balance high-energy marketing campaigns with the care, vulnerability, and nuanced sensitivity required when communicating with patients.
- 0-to-1 Community & PR Experience: You have a proven track record of building digital spaces and driving brand awareness from scratch. You understand consumer psychology, media traction, and the communication strategies needed to scale a new network.
- Modern Content & Video Proficiency: You are highly skilled in digital storytelling and modern media workflows. You can independently write sharp copy, edit video assets, and leverage generative AI production tools to transform healthcare topics into dynamic visual narratives.
- US Market Alignment: You possess an exceptional command of the English language and a deep, nuanced understanding of the cultural, lifestyle, and dietary contexts unique to healthcare consumers in the United States.
- Rigorous Boundary Management: While high-energy communication and buzz-building drive your strategy, operational moderation is a core requirement. You know how to safely navigate sensitive health topics, de-escalate emotional discussions, and ensure peer conversations strictly adhere to safety guidelines without offering unverified clinical advice.
The Offer
- Commitment: Approximately 12 hours per week (Fully Remote / Flexible within US time zones).
- Compensation Structure:
Initial Phase: Equity-based compensation as an official, founding team member.
Post-Fundraising Phase: A structured part-time salary immediately following the completion of our upcoming investment round.
