Partners closely with the Talent Leadership team, HR Leadership Team and HR Business Partners, as well as other cross-functional senior leadership. The role will manage and execute core talent management programs in the integrated talent management system inclusive of Leadership and Management Development, Performance Management, Organizational Development, Talent Assessment and Succession Planning, and Associate Engagement. This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive leadership and management development programs across the organization. Focuses on providing direction, thought leadership, hands on execution, and aligning learning strategies with business objectives to ensure the effectiveness of programs that drive leadership, manager, and team capabilities and performance. Leads a team of talent and development professionals who will lead scaling and implementation of talent programs for the organization.
This role reports to the Vice President Talent Management.
What You Will Do
- Act as a thought leader and contribute to the development of Empower talent management and development strategy.
- In partnership with key stakeholders, lead the design and implementation of enterprise talent management programs and processes in support of the talent management strategy and focused on engaging, development and retaining our associates.
- Lead and build on existing enterprise talent programs, such as performance management, contribution conversations, talent assessment and succession, associate onboarding, leadership and management development programs, and ad-hoc learning programs to provide seamless, end-to-end talent solutions to meet the needs of a fast-growing organization.
- Build on existing succession planning frameworks to create and educate leaders and HR peers on a comprehensive annual talent assessment, calibration and succession planning process that will scale and help the organization identify and create plans to close talent gaps and ensure future leadership needs are met.
- Oversee and, in partnership with HRIS, optimize Workday Talent functionality to enable and simplify all core talent management processes.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive leadership and manager development strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure the execution of leadership development programs, including the roll-out of large programs, in partnership with the learning technology, instructional design and development team.
- Apply adult learning theory to the design and execution of comprehensive and impactful leadership, manager and team development initiatives and engagements.
- Evaluate, measure, and track the impact, effectiveness and ROI of leadership development programs, implementing continuous improvement initiatives and strategy and program revisions as needed.
- Act as a thought leader; stay abreast of the latest talent management, leadership, manager and team development trends, research and emerging leadership theories. Stay informed about the changing talent development landscape to evolve our programs and adopt best practices.
- Demonstrate excellent facilitation skills and executive presence, guiding in-person, virtual and hybrid development sessions to maximize learning and leadership skill development.
- Use data to create, measure and evaluate all programs and processes in the department. Create scale for new business ventures for attracting talent to our fast growth business areas.
- Effectively lead a team to high levels of engagement and performance.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years Human Resources, Talent Management or Leadership Development experience required
- Proven executive level experience in steering human resource and talent development programs
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success in interacting and influencing across all management levels
- Success and experience as a consultant for internal customers and HRBPs; can adequately diagnose and provide solutions for organization, talent and leadership development opportunities
- Strong business acumen, use of data analytics, and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills evidencing the ability to think and act strategically and align programs with business objectives and foster effective leadership growth
- Self-motivated and creative, with a bias toward action and motivated by working in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of detail orientation with proven project management capabilities including experience handling multiple key projects at a time
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to motivate, engage, and inspire others
- Demonstrable strong executive presence and facilitation skills and ability to guide impactful group sessions
- Articulate and persuasive communicator, both orally and written. Effective at influencing without authority
- Flexible, astute, and accommodating
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Base Salary Range
$145,900.00 - $211,525.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
