Join our dynamic marketing team and play a vital role in shaping the visual identity and promotion of multiple growing Kahuna brands. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating visually stunning print and promotional projects, including flyers, web graphics, and trade show display materials. Additionally, this position will contribute to the success of internal and external marketing events and handle various administrative tasks.
General Characteristics: The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement visual marketing and promotional activities. This role involves designing various creative content including brochures, flyers, posters, website content, social media, infographics, presentations and other marketing materials. Ensuring design consistency and reflecting the Kahuna brand is key. The position coordinates promotional item orders from multiple vendors, reviewing proofs and securing final approval. Additional responsibilities include creating and updating employee bios, working with employees to develop newsletter and social content ideas, and ensuring professional and consistent layout and design under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels (print, web, social media, promotional items, etc.)
- Design art and copy layouts for a variety of materials and mediums.
- Manage day-to-day projects with a focus on detail and timelines.
- Create employee engagement initiatives including content that goes with those projects.
- Event planning coordination and support for internal and external events
- Manage and coordinate various promotional products with multiple vendors.
- May act as administrative lead for the Kahuna Kares charitable giving program.
Required Experience:
- ·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related business area, preferred not required.
- Work experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Understanding of design principles and experience in a wide variety of media.
- Solid project management skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail.
- Positive, collaborative, and flexible with a strong desire to achieve results.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
