The California Migration Museum creates hands-on, immersive experiences and exhibits that tell the stories of immigrants and refugees in California. Our work explores the complex history of welcome, exclusion, displacement and resistance that has shaped the state. It questions who “we” are—and who we want to become.
We are a new museum, and our current work includes deeply researched, nuanced and provocative neighborhood tours in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. Thanks to a significant donation, the Museum is now expanding its core staff, launching a series of exciting new projects in new mediums, and developing plans for a future physical site in San Francisco.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Social Media Strategist & Manager to join our passionate team.
