Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Long Island City, NY 11101
Shift: Initial training will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. After training, the schedule will rotate between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST and 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST, with advance notice provided.
Summary
:Under general supervision, the pharmacist will provide appropriate drug therapy to adult and pediatric patients by screening physician's orders thoroughly, accurately entering the orders into the computer system, monitoring patient drug therapy, recommending appropriate changes in medication, and compounding and dispensing drugs without error. The pharmacist will also provide direct supervision of all technician duties and act as a drug information resource person for all health care professionals and patients
