Job Description
The Connections Coordinator supports the discipleship process of the congregation in an administrative and leadership capacity, in the following ways:
- Responsible for executing congregational digital communications.
- Manages the weekly newsletter with lead pastor input.
- Responsible for social media execution through a volunteer team.
- Leads logistics and communication planning for campus experience.
- Leads Guest Services & Next Step Teams.
- Runs All Events (Welcome to Mariners Lunch, Series Launch Celebrations, & training events).
- Helps manage congregation calendar / roadmap
- Provides Operational Support
- Ensures the full follow-up process of Connect cards and relevant metrics.
- Assists in the database end of volunteer onboarding (BG Check, LC, Livescan)
- Works to develop and maintain up-to-date registration and rosters, both creation & management.
Qualifications
- Desire to serve Christ in Southern California
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and relationship
- History of collaborating well with a team
