A top AmLaw200 firm is looking for a PR & Communications Coordinator to join the team in the Boston office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and post content to boost media exposure and share corporate updates on social media and the company's website.
- Compile a weekly internal newsletter summarizing media coverage.
- Craft, review, and edit both - internal and external communications, to ensure a good balance between storytelling and strategic positioning of the brand.
- Work closely with the PR Manager to evaluate and approve media opportunities, including addressing conflicts.
- Monitor and follow media coverage.
- Assist in preparing quarterly PR reports for section leaders.
- Identify and track relevant firmwide awards, collaborating with the BD team members and attorneys on award submissions.
- Help gather data and complete firm surveys.
- Assist in the byline article process, including obtaining permissions and reprint rights.
- Serve as the main contact with the media database vendor.
- Communicate with staff, attorneys, and external vendors across all firm offices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- At least 3 years of experience in the legal field or at a professional services firm, working within PR, Communications, or Journalism
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to write professionally and create stories
- Ability to use social media platforms for business reasons
