Rothman Brecher Ehrich Livingston (RBEL) is a Beverly Hills talent agency representing writers, directors, producers and IP creators for primarily US based television projects.
RBEL TRAINEE
RBEL trainee program is for students in their final year of their bachelor’s or master’s program, recent college graduates or entry-level talent seeking to start their career in the entertainment industry. Trainees are paid minimum wage per Los Angeles County labor laws. Trainees work 16 or 17 weeks in one of three openings January to April, May to August, or September to December. Trainees work 20 hours per week comprised of two full days (9:30am to 6:30pm with 1 hour lunch) and one half day (2pm to 6pm). All work is in person at the office in Beverly Hills.
PROGRAM
RBEL trainees have the opportunity to work with all the people at the agency (partners, agents, assistants and finance) to learn all aspects of the agency business. Responsibilities and opportunities include:
· Learning entertainment industry methodology for handling phone calls.
· Using agency’s proprietary software to organize data.
· Reading client material to create loglines that are used to pitch and sell client.
· Taking notes on meetings and calls to understand “what’s important.”
· Reading, researching and pitching potential new clients to agents.
· Contribute and edit bi-weekly internal “Finger on the Pulse” newsletter.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Passion and focus for scripted television programming.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Inquisitive with a desire to learn and grow.
