Job Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant to contribute to our dynamic team. This role is ideal for those who are tech-savvy, creative, and enthusiastic about using AI to drive meaningful change. As a Marketing Assistant, you will be pivotal in content creation, event planning, and executing marketing strategies that resonate with our mission. You will have the chance to work remotely, manage various tasks, and grow professionally within our supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Blog Production: Produce 2-3 blog posts per week to highlight the impact of AI in the nonprofit sector.
- Oversee and send the Sidecar newsletter twice per week.
- Social Media Management: Create and manage content across various platforms to maintain an active and engaging online presence.
- Regularly manage and update posts on our Sidecar Community to foster engagement and provide valuable content to our members.
- Marketing Collateral: Use tools like Canva and Midjourney to design engaging marketing materials that resonate with our mission.
General Marketing Support:
- Campaign Coordination: Plan and execute marketing campaigns. Use HubSpot to organize campaign elements, track performance metrics, and ensure timely delivery aligned with the marketing funnel.
- Workflow Automation: Set up and manage automated marketing workflows in HubSpot, designed to streamline communication and enhance the effectiveness of campaign strategies along the marketing funnel.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain and update customer and prospect databases in HubSpot, ensuring data accuracy and compliance for targeted marketing efforts. Regularly clean and review data to sustain database health.
Administrative Tasks:
- Community Inbox Monitoring: Monitor our community inbox and efficiently address customer service queries.
- AI Learning Hub Administration: Manage administrative duties for our AI Learning Hub, including adding new customers and managing account access.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Comprehensive Support: Assist with the planning and execution of multiple virtual and in-person events from start to finish, ensuring seamless logistics management.
- On-Site Assistance: Provide on-site event support 3-4 times a year, helping to ensure the events run smoothly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
- Previous experience in a marketing role is a plus.
- An interest in AI and experience using generative language models for content production.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
