Role Description The Content and Events Marketing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ellensburg, WA. This position oversees the planning, development, and execution of marketing content and events that promote university programs, initiatives, and student engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and managing digital and print content, coordinating event marketing campaigns, collaborating with internal partners and external vendors, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. The supervisor monitors performance metrics, optimizes campaigns based on data, and supports strategic marketing initiatives that advance CWU’s visibility and reputation. This role may also lead or mentor staff and student employees involved in content creation and event promotion.
Qualifications
- Strong market planning and market research skills to develop, execute, and refine content and event marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret marketing data, track campaign performance, and inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to create clear, engaging content and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with sales or promotional activities to drive event attendance and support enrollment or engagement goals.
- Background in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience coordinating events and managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, content management systems).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support an inclusive, student-centered campus culture.
